Orchard Mesa Little League runs on Volunteers like you!

If you are volunteering at OMLL you will need to complete a Volunteer Form and to ensure the safety of everyone at the ball field, we require all volunteers to allow us to run a background check, at no cost to you.

📢 Help Wanted: Grant Writer for Orchard Mesa Little League ⚾

Are you passionate about youth sports and skilled in writing compelling grant proposals? Orchard Mesa Little League is seeking a volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure funding to support our growing program!

🔍 About Us:

We are a nonprofit youth baseball/softball league committed to teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and the love of the game. We rely on community support and grants to provide quality equipment, field maintenance, uniforms, and scholarships for families in need.

📌 Responsibilities:

Research grant opportunities aligned with youth sports and nonprofit funding.
Write and submit grant proposals on behalf of our league.
Help us track deadlines and required reporting.
Work closely with our board and fundraising team.

✅ Qualifications:

Experience in grant writing (nonprofit/youth sports experience a plus).
Strong writing and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Passion for helping kids and supporting local community initiatives.

COACHES:

This year Orchard Mesa Little League will be offering a $25 rebate on ONE PLAYERS registration fees, for the head coach of each team.

The head coach of each team will be determined by the OMLL Board of Directors.

The $25 rebate will be issued to each teams head coach by end of season via the route they paid their registration fees. All refunds will be issued to accounts that are paid in full. Volunteer Coaches can get a discounted season shirt for $13 and a discounted team hat for $10.

Little League International Requires all coaches to complete these training's:

CDC Concussion Training (You will need to create an account if you do not have one already.)
In-person Concussion Training at St. Mary's Hospital starting in March. (More information to come!)

Abuse Awareness Training (You will need to create an account if you do not have one already.)

Diamond Leader Training -Provides coaches with an understanding of the impact that mental, social, and emotional well-being has in youth sports through detailed information, interactive scenarios, and a variety of additional resources. (You will need to create an account if you do not have one already.)
